ECOMEX is an aerospace-grade Nomex® aramid honeycomb core engineered for high specific strength, excellent shear rigidity, and consistent compressive performance at extremely low weight. Produced from phenolic-reinforced meta-aramid paper and expanded into a precise hexagonal cell structure, it ensures inherent flame resistance (FST), low smoke and toxicity, and reliable thermal stability across a wide operating temperature range.

Its non-metallic, corrosion-free construction and low dielectric signature make it suitable for RF-sensitive components, including radomes and fairings, while controlled crush behavior and fatigue resistance support long-term durability in dynamic loading environments.
